lives in Munich.

Studied German Literature, Philosophy and Computer Sciences at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Degree as Magister Artium (M.A.).


Works as an author and artist.

Cultural Sponsorship Award of the County Landsberg on Lech 1997. Participation in the 12th Open Mike 2004 and the Ingeborg-Bachmann-Award 2005. Scholarship Text-Factory in the Literary Colloquium Berlin 2005. Bavarian State Sponsorship Award in the Category Literature 2007. Project Scholarship for Fine Arts of the State Capital Munich 2008. Artist-in-Residence851, Munich 2009. Winner at the competition "Let's perform" public art of the State Capital Munich Department of Cultural Affairs 2012. Studio Sponsorship of the State Capital Munich 2014 to 2017.


Co-founder of the "Black Ink" publishing company and of the Offspace exhibition series "I love no waiting".

Though he continuously has been engaged in digital technologies for many years his true passions are analogue media like books, vinyl and wine.

Nikolai Vogel

Studierte Germanistik (Neuere Deutsche Literatur), Philosophie und Informatik an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Abschluss als Magister Artium (M.A.).

Arbeitet als Freier Autor und Künstler.

Kulturförderpreis des Landkreises Landsberg am Lech 1997. Teilnahme beim 12. Open Mike 2004 und dem Ingeborg-Bachmann-Preis 2005. Stipendiat der Autorenwerkstatt im Literarischen Colloquium Berlin 2005. Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis 2007 in der Sparte Literatur. Projektstipendium für Bildende Kunst der Stadt München 2008. Artist-in-Residence851, München 2009. Gewinn im Wettbewerb "Let's perform - Kunst im öffentlichen Raum" des Kulturreferats der Landeshauptstadt München 2012. Mitgründer des "Black Ink"-Verlags und der Offspace-Ausstellungsreihe "I love no waiting".

Trotz langjähriger und fortdauernder Beschäftigung mit digitalen Technologien sind seine eigentliche Leidenschaft analoge Medien wie Bücher, Vinyl und Wein.
